Sound Pure's Take

Condition: Used, Excellent

SP Luthier Notes: Some of the frets were coming out of the fretboard, and our luthier reseated them and glued them into place. At least half of the frets were polished, recrowned and leveled. The truss rod and bridge were fully adjusted. No further work was needed.

This incredible design from Anderson offers rare tonal potential while still being completely accessible to any player from any background.  No rigorous study of a user manual required here--you just plug in and the Crowdster Plus takes you from there.  The feel of the neck is so enticing--fast but not too thin for folks coming from a D18.  It may sound impossible, but you can go from John Fahey to Wes Montgomery, from warm acoustic rhythm work to blistering electric lead with the literal flick of a switch.  A guitar that any player will find many, many uses for!

From Tom Anderson Guitarworks

So what is the Plus of the Crowdster Plus? Same amazing guitar as the regular Crowdster, plus the addition of an Anderson electric guitar pickup made especially for Crowdster. So you can blend in or select impressive supplemental electric guitar sounds to augment Crowdster's already substantial acoustic voice. Very versatile and very cool!

And again, just like the original Crowdster, there is nothing like it anywhere. Why? Well one reason is its CMA, Crowdster Plus' electric guitar pickup. CMA has been specifically designed to bring wildly impressive electric guitar tones to Crowdster. Everyone knows that part of an acoustic guitar's distinctive timbre is due to the use of bronze strings, not electric guitar strings.

CMA is an electric guitar pickup designed from the ground up to listen for the nuances bronze strings have to offer and balance output into an impressive electric guitar offering.
