Sound Pure's Take
Weight: 6.95 lbs.
From Tom Anderson Guitarworks
Cobras are just ridiculously good!
A guitar like no other, Cobra will play it all, cross over and through all styles of music, stomping your stamp of authority with graceful fluidity.
The one and only Cobra has been a star here at Anderson Guitarworks since its inception in 1992. Everyone loves Cobra so much that it has literally become an Anderson tradition—so magnificent to play.
Cobra is:
Short Scale - 24 3/4-inch strings length - focused mids - easier reaching and bending
Mahogany Construction - a powerful mahogany foundation backs up all Cobra has to say with midrange muscle
Traditional "T" delineation
Twin humbuckers - other Anderson pickup options available as well
Straight, single-plane (not tilt-back) neck-to-body geometry
Bridge - traditional fixed bridge or a vintage tremolo - both with string-through-the-body for increased saddle tension - offering a bit of a bite, tonally speaking.
