This is another amazing musical snare from Pork Pie. The finish is a classic White Marine Pearl wrap. The hardware is all chrome, very solid, and smooth. Solid shell snares, or steam bent shells, are typically constructed from a single board and bent into shape. The tone of the A single piece of wood will vibrate far more freely than a piece constructed of multiple plys. The single ply shell will vibrate (resonate) more freely than the multi-ply shells that are most commonly used in drum manufacture. This resonance is what gives this snare it's warmth and bite.

About Manufacturer

In 1987, Bill Detamore started making drums as a hobby. He sold one, made two more, and so on. This evolved into some of the finest handmade drums available today. To take snare drums one step further, he introduced solid (one piece), exotic wood stave and plate brass designs.
