Sound Pure's Take

Condition: Used, Very Good (Repaired Pickguard crack, Repaired Side Crack, Two Repaired Back Cracks, New Neck Built by our in house Luthier)

A mysterious stranger with something to prove!  While we aren't 100% sure, our pooled experience has led us to believe that this here is a dread built by a Martin employee back in the 50s.  The lines, the cosmetics--it's just way, way too spot on.  Most importantly, this faceless/nameless axe sounds twice as good as labeled Martins from the same time period that are twice as clean.  Go figure!  If provenance is primo for you, don't bother--if you want a truly unique, vintage piece with a big, bold voice to back up all that mystery, you have arrived!
