Being a Small Diaphragm Condenser with a faster, smaller capsule, the C5 showcases incredible transient detail, string articulation, and an overall tighter low-end. With it’s larger capsule size, the C7 Large Diaphragm Condenser showcases a little more warmth and roundness (particularly in the low-end) and smoothed out some of the transient detail from the strings.
