What We Think
Yamaha's version of the parallel action super sensitive snare (similar to ludwigs super sensitive)...it's a great snare!...very sensitive response, seamless shell, top of the line drum in its day....produced from 78-83 (approx.) Seamless steel shell chrome drum originally came with early 1980's recording custom drum sets. This great snare drum has the super sensitive parallel release snare strainer mechanism which allows constant tension in the snare wires when they are raised or lowered. The snares are original and extend past the edge of the drum providing the super sensitive sound. A great sounding drum that projects very well. The snare tension can be adjusted from both sides. It is in good condition with minor pitting on the lugs and shell.
