What We Think

Condition: Used, Excellent

An unbelievable instrument, the likes of which we will sorely miss once it's gone.  Wyatt Wilkie was Bob Benedetto's (Style B for Bendetto) head carver for many years and it shows (and sounds!) as one would expect given that lofty pedigree.  Expect all the clarity, immediacy, and refreshing openness of the best of the best early 20th century Gibson oval hole archtops, elevated to a level of nuance and character that has just plain shocked everyone here.  10/10

From In-House Master Luthier, Rob Sharer: One of the most successful oval-hole archtops I've ever heard, acoustically speaking. Exemplary fret work, elegant deep dish carving, a perfect straight neck, and the rubenesque roundness of the lower bout is a thing of beauty. Learned guitar building with no unnecessary frills; just enough bling and sparkle to let you know you're holding something truly special while retaining classic good looks.
