Sound Pure's Take
UFIP has long been one of the best-kept secrets in cymbals. Offering a variety of sounds to meet the demands of discerning players, the Class Series adds more Turkish-style sounds to their Earcrafted mantra.
This 20" Ride has a wide lathing pattern for that dynamic players will enjoy. Weighing in at 2210 grams, this cymbal is designed to be a workhorse without suppressing dynamics. The body of the cymbal has a glassiness that cuts well with good stick definition. It is a little on the heavy side for crashing, but for medium to high volume gigs, players should be able to get a decent wash out of it. The bell was probably our favorite part of this cymbal. Great articulation and definition of a medium-sized bell that projects well without being over-bearing. Great used condition.
From Other (Miscellanous Used/Vintage/Consign)
Class is UFIP! This series is the result of almost 80 years of cymbals manufacturing, making Class the most complete and versatile range available. The SCS (Sound Control System) allows us to classify every cymbal based on its final weight using three categories – High, Medium and Low, giving the drummer a complete coverage of pitches.
