Handcrafted by master builder Michael Tuttle, this early Carve Top Standard (#16) showcases Tuttle’s legendary fretwork and obsession with playable, resonant design. Pairing a gorgeous flame maple top with a lightweight mahogany body (7 lbs 15 oz) in a rich Ice Tea Burst finish, it offers classic single-cut warmth, sustain, and midrange punch. The mahogany neck features Tuttle’s smooth oil finish, an Indian rosewood fingerboard, a comfortable .850-C profile, and impeccably leveled stainless steel frets for effortless bending and slick feel. Outfitted with nickel hardware, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, Grover Kluson tuners, and a pair of custom "PD" humbuckers with traditional dual volume/dual tone controls, it delivers vintage-inspired clarity and dynamic drive in a high-end boutique package.
