The Loar has a great history of guitar-making. SoundPure is pleased to have in a couple of really great used Loar guitars available. You will be amazed at the quality vs. price on these guitars!
I'm a big fan of the flamed maple back on this one! and since it doesn't have a pickup dampening the spruce top, the larger surface area allows the top to vibrate more freely. Although adding a pickup to this guitar would be a worthy modification if you plan to plug in at a gig.

The Loar’s hand-carved, nitrocellulose-finished LH-700 archtop guitar is a product of extensive historic research. Its excellent projection and quick decay make it the professional choice for jazz soloing or accompaniment.
The LM-700 is assembled with an AAA solid hand carved spruce top, AAA flamed maple back and sides, and a figured maple neck with a vintage-style skunk stripe. The bone nut and compensated adjustable ebony bridge let the sound of the select tonewoods resonate clearly. The headstock is inlaid with a MOP “Flowerpot” headstock design and the guitar is finished with a hand-buffed nitrocellulose lacquer tobacco sunburst finish to stay true to classic design and style.
The LH-700 comes standard with the Golden Age-styled Deluxe Vintage Hardshell archtop case.
