From Other (Miscellanous Used/Vintage/Consign)
Teodoro Perez was born in the province of Soria in 1952. In 1966 he moved to Madrid, where he began his apprenticeship/training in the José Ramirez III workshop. In 1991 he set up his own workshop. The entirely French-polished "Concierto" model is with choicest woods. This instrument strikes first by its aesthetic beauty. The rosette in shades of green, the bridge and the purflings, all remarkably made, set off the handsome cedar used for the top and the Madagascar rosewood. This superb craftsmanship, perfectly realized, shows all the knowledge and experience of the Madrid luthier.
The sound qualities are in the pure Madrid tradition at its best. This is a beautiful, powerful and homogeneous concert instrument. Deep bass, clear and colorful trebles give this instrument a lyrical and very beautiful musicality.
