This is a very cool and simple to operate basic loop pedal for practice and performance. With just one button it allows you to create one loop, up to five minutes in length, with as many overdubs as you like. It is an excellent practice tool for looping chord progressions and working on lead playing, or writing new parts to any material you have been working on. It keeps you honest when it comes to keeping time, as it has no quantizing feature to correct a misplaced set of the loop. This might bother some, but I find this kind of challenge exceptionally good practice as far as staying in the pocket is concerned. This pedal is great to practice playing and soloing to jazz standards as well, as it has plenty of memory for any basic jazz or blues form. All around it is a great pedal, especially for the price, and while its lack of features might not make it ideal for live performance, I believe everyone could benefit from a practice tool of this quality.
