This drum features 2.3mm customized Brass Sound Arc Hoops specifically for this drum to enhance tone. Tama utilizes a varitey of hammering sizes which provides fatness and resonance as you’ve never heard from a metal snare.The linear drive strainer with calibrated ratchet style tension adjustment knob makes precision tuning simple. The Tama Star Reserve Aluminum snare includes super sensitive hi-carbon snappy snares and a detachable butt plate for quick snare and head changes.
