Sound Pure's Take
How can a drum company take a world-renowned series to the next level? By adding an exotic veneer. Tama has released a limited run of 40 Starclassic Performer Birch/Bubinga drum sets in this stunning Gloss Natural Tigerwood finish. These hybrid shells are coveted by drummers across modern styles of music for their quick, clear attack and punchy low end. This sound is given further refinement by Tama’s die-cast hoops and Star-Cast Mounting system, resulting in an overall sound that has cemented this series’ fame over the past 11 years.
From Tama
TAMA has taken the already popular Starclassic Performer BB kit and wrapped it in an outer ply of Tigerwood. The striking grain pattern combined with Brushed Black Nickel shell hardware and two distinctive new finishes (GNT and MBT), makes this kit a unique choice within a proven series of reliable and exceptional sounding drums.
