Plugged in, this guitar sounds unbelievable. You're getting some of the girth of your favorite mahogany bodied singlecuts, but with the clarity and precision you'd expect from a superstrat styled guitar. You can absolutely get tight, percussive dirty rhythm tones out of this one as well as get a very clear, singing, sustaining lead tone with ease. Like every Modern, the playability is second to none; fret access from the first fret all the way to the 24th is a breeze and the guitar nearly plays itself.
