Over the years, I've had my flings with Strats, Les Pauls and SGs and, while those guitars are outstanding in their own ways, I've always been an unabashed Tele guy and this Classic T from Suhr is a great reminder of why. It's the body style that launched the electric guitar revolution and it continues to excite and inspire just as much today. This particular guitar weighs in at a comfortable 7.85 lbs. and feels perfectly balanced whether you're playing it sitting or standing. The roasted maple neck features stylish Mother of Pearl side and face dots and a splashy hybrid step that matches the Vintage White body finish. THE SHAPE THAT STARTED IT ALL AND THEN SOME . . .
The Suhr Classic T evokes the electric guitar that started it all. Digitized from an original '52 slab body, the Classic T combines legendary design with modern improvements.
Frets are Plek leveled and hand dressed for superior playability. The optional body contours improve player comfort while also reducing weight. The improved headstock design enhances tuning stability, eliminating the need for a string tree.
The combination of quality tonewoods and Suhr pickups give the Classic T a familiar voice. From Classic Twang to rowdy Rock & Roll, the Classic T is a crowd pleaser that will never go out of style.
This feature is available on all models. Body chambering not only reduces weight but also adds sweetness to the highs, and warmth to the lows. We can chamber any wood combination and also add an F-hole or Cat's Eye.
