Sound Pure's Take
Paulownia is quickly becoming one of the most-loved new woods for guitar builders across the globe. Lighter than Swamp Ash and boasting plenty of figuring and grain to entertain the eye as well as the ear. Lively, responsive, and easy on the shoulder and the back, the Classic T Paulownia is another triumph from our friends at Suhr!
From John Suhr Guitars
Meet our newest friend, Paulownia. Paulownia is a body wood that sounds and looks similar to Swamp Ash. It is a highly resonant tone wood that is both beautiful and extremely light in weight. Paired with a roasted maple neck and fingerboard along with our Classic T pickups and Silent Single Coil II system, the Classic T Paulownia is a light weight guitar that delivers authentic T-style tones with a bit more warmth and body.
