John Suhr’s ‘T’ style guitar, like all aspects of his brand, are rooted in tradition. The Classic T Antique series has taken the most notable characteristics of '50s ‘T’ style guitars that gained so much notoriety, and applied a few modern twists for exceptional playability. It all starts with the Swamp Ash body, a common staple of vintage ‘T’ styles. The tonewood has a natural brightness and crisp clarity that can only be attributed to itself, with awesome natural presence. With the capability to cut through any mix, and the vintage mojo that can nail just about any clean tone imaginable - you’ll be hard pressed to find a more impressive build of a vintage tone machine like this one!

Available in two great Classic T Antique eras:
'50s Spec: 2-piece Swamp Ash body with Maple fingerboard on a Maple neck, Trans finishes (2 Tone Burst, Trans Butterscotch or Trans White), and single-ply pickguard (Black Bakelite or White).
'60s Spec: 2-piece Alder body with a Rosewood fingerboard on a Maple neck, Finishes (3 Tone Burst, Black or Olympic White), and a 3-Ply Parchment pickguard.
A covered SSV humbucker in the neck position is an available option on both the 50's and 60's models.
The nitro-cellulose lacquer finish and our proprietary antiquing process make each Classic T Antique™ feel like it has been loved for years.
