Sound Pure's Take
Weight: 8.25
Once again, just when we think it can't get any better- Suhr never disappoints. This guitar is gig-ready in every right out of the box. Super smooth fret work and the Even C Medium will absolutely spoil you. With the addition of the SSV in the bridge we have just that much more tone available to us.
This one sports the limited edition finish over finish Olympic White over 3-Tone-Burst and we simply cannot get enough. This one sounds every bit as good as it looks and is a truly inspiring guitar!
From John Suhr Guitars
Our customers asked for an instrument that had a vintage look and feel but did not sacrifice playability and tone. Enter the Classic Antique™. We designed this guitar to ensure it preserved the spirit of a vintage instrument while performing like a Suhr. Impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure that every neck pocket is tight, every fret is perfectly dressed, and that each instrument plays its best before leaving our facility. The nitro-cellulose lacquer finish and our proprietary antiquing process make each Classic Antique™ feel like it has been loved for years.
