Condition: Used, Excellent (cabinet has a dented corner and some shifted joints, otherwise in perfect physical condition)
This handsome and simply built amp has a voice all its own. Don't let the specs fool you into writing this one off as another "British" combo amp. The tone stack is versatile, but retains its 'otherness' all the way through. One word rings over and over again: clarity. The clean tone on the Moseley is articulate and bell-like without being harsh or bringing too much of the expected 'chime' of EL84's. The bass frequencies don't warble or turn to mud either, quite the contrary, bass notes have that piano-note pluck and sustain while remaining balanced. If you're looking to get acquainted with the sound of your guitar how you've never heard it before, the Moseley will be happy to introduce you.

The Moseley amplifier covers some slightly different ground with the help of a fantastic articulation of a crystal clear EL84 driven power section. When pushed the adequately filtered power section, over-sized M6 steel laminated transformers and solid state rectifier work together to let loose a huge, tight, low end crunch that still allows you to ease back into warm and articulate cleans by turning down your guitar's volume control. The preamp consists of one Tung-Sol 12AX7, volume, treble and bass controls, which feeds another Tung-Sol 12AX7 phase inverter. The amplified and out-of-phase signals are then sent to a matched and burned in pair of Tung-Sol EL84s for up to eighteen watts of power. The cabinet is constructed in 5/8" solid wood (walnut, pecan, maple, Brazilian cherry or bamboo) using half-blind dovetail joints.
