Building on the beloved 023 Bomblet, MALFA collaborated with our team to personally modify the 023 capsule, making intentional tuning adjustments for today’s modern, radio-ready mixes. The result is a truly handmade capsule with a gentle presence lift, and airy extension, retaining all the same forgiving character that the 023 Series has become known for.
The 023 Malfa Capsule is easily swapped and threaded onto any current-gen 023 or 017 Series mic body to deliver a slightly brighter, more forward accent - perfect for mix-ready pop vocals, acoustic textures, and any source that needs polish without harshness.

Like its sibling, the 023 Bomblet, the 023 Malfa Capsule blends a warm texture with unmistakable Soyuz character. The 023 Malfa is tuned for:
Gentle Presence Lift (6–7 kHz) – Adds articulation so vocals sit on top of a mix.
Extended “Air” Above 15 kHz – Gives strings, cymbals, and ambience an effortless shimmer.
Lean Low-Mids – Keeps body intact while preventing mud in dense arrangements.
