From Soyuz 013 FET page:
After bringing in Soyuz's microphones, we've been consistently impressed with the quality, richness, and ease they bring to recording sessions. The new 013 FET SDC is the newest addition to the family, and we expect it will have the same detailed and finished sound that makes their more expensive mics such heavy-hitters. Based on the frequency graph and specs made available thus far, we expect their first FET SDC to be a polished workhorse pencil mic with it's flat low-end and mid-range frequency response. Coupled with a slight rise in the "air" and "openness" range, we expect the 013 to be a clear and honest, yet musical SDC with the same impeccable build quality we've seen on their other three mic models.
The 013 Ambisonic combines x4 of our 013 FET small diaphragm condensers and x4 custom transformers into a single, phase-coherent mic that records 360° surround sound with unmatched fidelity and character.
The included custom-matched Soyuz ambisonic plugins provide complete control in post-production, allowing you to shape the sound field to your imagination.
The 013 Ambisonic will simplify any setup, captivate any audience, and translate across any system - stereo or beyond.

IDEAL FOR:
Boutique, hand-made microphones from Russia. Possessing a stunning visual look and a smooth, rich, but clear and focused sound quality, the Soyuz mics have already made a very large impression on the industry after only being around for a very short amount of time. Popular artists such as Radiohead, Coldplay, Paramore, and The Lumineers have gone on record to support the mics and confirm they were used on their most recent records.
