Produced in the 1960s, this Slingerland Radio King snare drum is here on consignment. It has a natural maple interior, the original Marine Pearl wrap, and has tight wrapped seams. The wrap does have a slight yellowing, but it appears to be even.

The chrome is in overall good to great condition with very little signs of pitting. The snare side hoop shows some light scratches, more than likely from a snare basket, and the top hoop has light scratches as well. All of the hardware appears to be original and there are not any signs of any modifications. Upon inspection, we did notice a couple of places where the reinforcing rings have a little separation from the shell.

This is a great player drum or studio drum for someone looking to recapture that vintage Slingerland sound.
