If you've never enjoyed the sonic richness of two pickups wired in series, hold onto your socks. This Lincoln from Serek is no exception. Marry that big sound (having, essentially, one big humbucker in the middle of this bass) with it's comfortable 32" scale, lightweight Poplar body and you've got yourself a bass punching way above its weight class. Pop the rotary switch back to parallel and suddenly, you're back in jazz bass territory! One more position back, P-bass! One more, you're rocking the bridge pickup on your trusty old 4001. If you love those Ric's and Gibson's from the 70's but want to cut the weight/size, this one's or you. If you love your precision bass, but just gotta have more tones, this one's for you too. The Lincoln began as a collaboration between Serek Basses and Chicago Music Exchange’s Bassment. Inspired by some of our favorite old-school designs, the Lincoln will feel right at home in your arsenal. A bolt-on maple neck is paired up with a single BiSonic pickup in the P position for supreme obliteration. The Lincoln has a slim, lightweight, contoured body that belies its immense, cosmic tone. With the Lincoln, you’ll be able to go all night long.
