What We Think

We dreamt up our second "Danko" Lincoln (this one we're calling "Little Ricky") with Jake in homage to one of our favorite bass players and his beloved Ripper bass. Whether you're a Rick Danko devotee or not, this Lincoln is sure to have something for you. This sollid hunk of Maple might look like a behemoth, but thanks to an easy 32" scale length, you'll find it effortless to travel the length of the neck. Jake's new humbucking pickups sound absolutely incredible and with the ideal 4-position setup (Neck, Bridge, Both in Parallel, Both in Series) you get a wonderful array of endlessly usable tones. If you've never enjoyed the sonic bliss of two humbuckers wired in series, hold on to your hat; you'll find it tough to choose any other position once you get hooked!

The Lincoln began as a collaboration between Serek Basses and Chicago Music Exchange’s Bassment. Inspired by some of our favorite old-school designs, the Lincoln will feel right at home in your arsenal. A bolt-on maple neck is paired up with a single BiSonic pickup in the P position for supreme obliteration. The Lincoln has a slim, lightweight, contoured body that belies its immense, cosmic tone. With the Lincoln, you’ll be able to go all night long.
