Sound Pure's Take
Warm, open, and forceful from bass to treble, this authoritative dread is the ideal tool for any flatpicker wanting the richest, fullest sound available. Richard Hoover's love for Mahogany is clear with this instrument--every single note across the entire massive dynamic range has a clarity of character that many guitars just don't possess. The cascading flatpicking style of Norman Blake has never sounded better on this guitar but that's hardly the extent of the sonic possibilities available to the player. Truly inspiring!
