The Sandberg California VS Short Scale is a modern take on the classic split-coil bass, combining vintage-inspired tone with Sandberg's renowned build quality and attention to detail. Its 30" scale length provides a comfortable playing experience while delivering a warm, punchy low end that sits effortlessly in a mix. The Blacklabel split-coil pickup captures the familiar authority and growl associated with classic bass designs, while the active/passive 2-band preamp offers added tonal flexibility without sacrificing the instrument's organic character. Built with a European ash body and pau ferro fingerboard, the California VS balances clarity, resonance, and strong note definition across the entire register. Finished in Matte Black with understated styling, it is a versatile and inspiring bass that blends vintage feel with modern performance.
