Sound Pure's Take
If you're in the market for classic looks with modern upgrades, look no further than this Creme TT4 from Sandberg. With a quick pull up on the volume pot to jump into passive mode, you've got a perfectly balanced and playable Jazz bass with all the definition you'd expect. Push back down to activate Sandberg's 2-band preamp for boosted highs for solo playing, boosted lows for holding down the bottom end, push them both for modern slap heaven or cut them both to really emphasize that mid growl of the bridge pickup.
