This is a great condition Rogers Holiday shell pack and is here on consignment. Serial #'s BD-47225, 13" 46998, 16" 93740-Dayton Ohio. All parts with the exception of a couple tension rods appear to be original and no extra holes or modifications have been done to the shells. The 16" floor tom may have come from the transition period as it has the grey speckled interior. The rack and bass drum interiors are both flat grey.
A couple of the lugs on the bass drum, as well as the collet, do show some light pitting and surface scratches, but considering their age are in good condition. The seams are tight and the wrap shows very little signs of uneven fading. There is a small narrow 1" scratch on the floor tom that is difficult to photograph. The location is the panel opposite of the cowbell holder in the middle of the drum. It blends in with the finish and really has to be in the right light to be seen, but nonetheless, it is there. For most people, this will be covered by a stick bag. The bass drum hoop has the usual pedal rash.
Ships with Rogers Weather King drum heads, floor tom legs, tom arm, and cymbal arm for the bass drum. Great player drums!
THE VISION… AND A LEGACY that helped shape the modern drum industry. Since 1849, Rogers Drums rose from the first U.S. calfskin drum head manufacturer into one of the most innovative drum and percussion brands on the planet. Rogers hit its stride during modern history’s most transformative decade – the 1960s and this “Golden Era” of the brand brought new inventions, sound, and style to the world of drumming- that had never been imagined before. Today, Rogers returns- celebrating the vision, and the legacy of their Golden Era, and carrying forward the brand’s creed for percussion innovation into the 21st Century.
