This is a good condition Rogers 5x14 wood Powertone snare drum and is here on consignment. Serial #9124-Dayton Ohio.
The shell interior and the exterior are in good condition, but the internal screws and washers do show some oxidation. No extra holes or modifications. The seam is tight and the wrap has minimal fading. Some lugs do show some slight pitting, but considering their age, are in good condition as well. The chrome is very clean overall.
The batter head is a Rogers-branded Weatherking and the snare side is Ludwig. This will ship with Rogers snare wires. Great player drum!
THE VISION… AND A LEGACY that helped shape the modern drum industry. Since 1849, Rogers Drums rose from the first U.S. calfskin drum head manufacturer into one of the most innovative drum and percussion brands on the planet. Rogers hit its stride during modern history’s most transformative decade – the 1960s and this “Golden Era” of the brand brought new inventions, sound, and style to the world of drumming- that had never been imagined before. Today, Rogers returns- celebrating the vision, and the legacy of their Golden Era, and carrying forward the brand’s creed for percussion innovation into the 21st Century.
