What We Think

Condition: Used, Very Good

This Robson OM flaunts vintage appointments matched up with a versatile sound. Aesthetically, it's a graceful mix of classic markers of high quality: Peep the herringbone rosette and purfling as well as the 28-style back strip, along with the mashup Gibson/Guild tortoiseshell pickguard, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, wood bridge pins and figured wood binding along the African mahogany sides. Speaking of which, the 'hog construction imparts muscular bass, warm mids and pleasantly jangly treble. Combined with the high headroom of the Adirondack spruce top, you get a guitar that dishes back whatever you throw at it. Delicate fingerpicking? You got it. Thumpy alternating-bass blues? Yes, please. Fast, flashy strumming? Sure! Finally, you get an LR Baggs Anthem pickup system to plug in with confidence.
