Every Revelator guitar starts it's life as a body that is CNC'd for us by one of several U.S. mills. These top quality reproductions are identically spec'd. copies of 1950's & 60's bodies. The relationships we have with these suppliers allow us to choose bodies with beautiful grain that are also light weight & resonant. We then sand and perform any final shaping that is required. They are then grained filled and sand sealed. We believe that the better our starting canvas is the better the final guitar we can create, These bodies give us the perfect beginning point for the guitars that bear our name.
