The PRS Custom 24 has become an industry standard when it comes to rock and hard rock. Being at the forefront of PRS's brand since it's unveiling in 1985, the Custom 24 has establlished its presence through years of quality endorsement from artists such as Mike Oldfield, Ted Nugent, Dave Navarro and Mark Tremonti. Some of the most prominent faces in modern rock music to this day still stand by their Custom 24.

This Azul Smoke Custom 24 is aesthetically enticing, sonically impeccable and just begging for attention. The 59/09 pickups articulate very well and are harmonically rich. The individual notes retain great clarity and definition while the amp is breaking up, making it great for heavy music.

But this guitar shouldn't be confined to one playing style as it is perfectly capable of handling all types of music - jazz, country, rock...you name it, and this Custom 24 will take you there. There is that signature PRS tonal warmth that cannot be had in any other build. A smooth and stable neck that allows for access to the highest registers with ease is what completes this stellar guitar.

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since.

For 2015, the Custom 24 features PRS’s patented tremolo system, six new maple top colors (Aquableux, Blood Orange, Faded Whale Blue, Leprechaun Tooth, Obsidian, and Violet), a rosewood headstock veneer with inlaid “Paul Reed Smith” signature, and the choice of PRS’s 59/09 treble and bass pickups or HFS treble and Vintage Bass pickups.
