Calling all tone-chasers and vintage guitar enthusiasts! We've just received a truly special instrument, locally handcrafted in Hillsborough, North Carolina, that instantly transports you back to the golden era of pre-war acoustics from the late 1930s and early 1940s. Its Adirondack Spruce top sings with that dry, powerful voice you crave, perfectly complemented by rich, old-growth Indian Rosewood on the back, sides, and headplate – a tonewood combo that simply blossoms with age.
Our talented luthier has painstakingly leveled, crowned, and polished every fret, and with a precise truss rod and bridge adjustment, this lightly distressed beauty is an absolute dream to play. The vintage-taper ebony fretboard feels instantly familiar, a nod to those legendary instruments. Hand-built by the highly respected folks at Pre-War guitars, this guitar is a rare find, offering that sought-after pre-war magic in a modern, perfectly playable package.
