For a lively snare with incredible clarity, you can't go wrong with this Pork Pie snare drum. It's got a meaty attack with an exceptional snap, and it's very sensitive too - ghost notes come alive, and rimshots cut through every time. It would be a beautiful compliment to any kit. The 7x14 size offers a great higher pitch tuning without sacrificing depth of tone, sensitivity, or dynamics. One of the best drums that you can buy under $500.

Pork Pie drums are the top-of-the-line. Standard equipment includes: 100% maple shells, Pork Rings mounting system, 2.3mm hoops, heavy duty spurs and our hour-glass shaped lug.
