What We Think

We found this classic-inspired white-marine-pearl-wrapped finish has the looks of the past, but with the custom modern sounds of today. The thin maple shells without reinforcing rings have a wide open tone and incredible sustain that blow us away. The bass drum is an 8-ply maple shell at less than 1/4", producing sounds for a rock setting, but because of its size, it can more than handle jazz settings as well, making this a versatile kit.

For many years, Pork Pie has been known for their snare drums, and the 5x14 snare that comes with this kit is capable of producing a myriad of tone and dynamics for demanding players.
