The 6 ply Birch shells produce the perfect blend of stunning attack, smooth midrange and low-end punch that has made these drums so popular with top players in every style of music. A great option for studio or live performance, the Pearl Masters is an affordable option for a pro level set without the extreme pro price.

Pearl is proud to introduce the exciting BSX Masters Studio 6-ply Birch “Glass Covered” Series!! BSX comes power-packed with all the great features that have made Masters the standard on sound excellence and quality craftsmanship. It simply doesn’t get any better at this price point.

The 6-ply Birch Shell offers a wide tuning range with the “Pre-EQ’ed” sound of Birch – that is a favorite among recording session drummers and audio engineer’s world over. There’s nothing like the sound of Birch with enhanced rich lows, coupled with reduced mid tones and slightly accentuated highs, that together go to tape so well and are easily reproduced in a “Live” musical setting.

The sound alone of this kit says it all - but there’s more!!

The added value of this series is the pristine look of the “Real Glass Flake” coverings. Using real-glass flakes provide the extra “glitter” to create a superior sparkle covering. Pearl also uses a special application process cutting each piece of covering precisely to fit the shell it goes on so the seams “Butt” together perfectly ‘Flush” with no gap - eliminating “covering-overlap” typical of most covered kits. This is craftsmanship at its best!
