What We Think
The Concept Metal series represents years of refined craftsmanship from the PDP team. This snare is designed to be a “workhorse,” making it useful for live or recording playing situations. The copper lends itself to a crisp and sensitive articulation in the medium and high tensions while retaining definition in the lower ranges. PDP's True Pitch tension rods combined with the 10 lug configuration affords the player greater control over the tuning to a very granular level.

The Concept Series Copper snare drum features a rolled and doubled-beaded 1mm copper shell that is brushed for a classy satin finish. Copper shells offer a similar attack and musicality to an aluminum or brass shell, but with warmer and darker tonality. Premium appointments, including True-Pitch tension rods, a sturdy DW MAG throw-off, and Remo Heads, contribute to the sophistication and quality of the snare. Drummers have enjoyed the PDP Concept Select Series Copper snare's resplendent sound. It's a multi-faceted snare you'll never want to stop playing!
About Manufacturer
Pacific Drums and Percussion (or PDP for short) is a division company under Drum Workshop established in the year 2000 to provide high-quality drum equipment to those unable to afford the higher prestige and quality Drum Workshop equipment. Pacific Drums and Percussion also manufactures drum hardware and accessories. Their factory is located in Oxnard, California. The line still uses some custom techniques, but primarily uses computerized machinery to cut costs and reduce steps to create high-quality drums in large quantities.
