PDP's True Pitch tension rods combined with the 10 lug configuration affords the player greater control over the tuning to a very granular level.

The Concept Series Brass snare drum features a rolled and doubled-beaded 1mm brass shell that is brushed for a classy satin finish. Brass shells produce a heavy, fat attack, musical overtones, and a wide tuning range that’s suitable for a variety of styles. Premium appointments, including True-Pitch tension rods, a sturdy DW MAG throw-off, and Remo Heads, contribute to the sophistication and quality of the snare.
