The Concept Classic Series utilize all-maple shells and maple ply hoops which feature low-mass pressed steel claws to help tie in that vintage vibe. Attention to detail is everything, so each claw has a small piece of felt fixed to the inside to help protect the surface of the maple hoops. The classic wood hoops deliver a smooth calfskin-like tonality and can be tuned up or down for a variety of musical situations making them perfect for live or session work.
