Sound Pure's Take
The Paiste Masters 20" Dark Ride is a dark, smoky, and harmonically complex cymbal that is suitable for low dynamic playing. The body delivers glassy definition perfect for light ride patterns and the bell's rich tone will let you create broad accents in moderately loud environments. For players that are looking to split the difference between a heavy and light ride cymbal, the Paiste Master Dark ride does a great job of fusing the two into one possibility. More aggressive players will love the crashable wash that this cymbal also provides.
From Paiste
Controllable, peppery stick sound over a dark layered oriental, smoky wash. A ride cymbal that can easily be used in a small jazz club setting and flourish in other styles such as blues or country music.
