Mytek, Inc. is a high end recording studio equipment manufacturer founded in 1992 in New York City. Mytek considers the sound quality and real life functionality of its products especially important. In designing our circuits we emulate high end audiophile designs, and we not only measure but also conduct extensive listening tests. We use audiophile quality components, avoiding standard opamps or electrolytic capacitors in the signal path. Once prototyped, our equipment is beta tested in major recording studios in NYC and updated when required before introduction to the market. Our first product introduced in 1992 was the PrivateQ multichannel headphone system. There are now over 100 systems operating in major recording studios worldwide with famous users such as The Rolling Stones. In 1992 we started developing our line of digital audio converters which now provide top 24 bit/192 kHz quality conversion and a number of features not found in any competitive products. We also manufacture the world's most sophisticated digital AES/EBU meter.
