Moondrum was a small custom builder from Danville, VA. This set features a custom copper finish with gloss black powdercoating. The Moondrum company used 8 ply Keller shells, about 1/4" thick with 45-degree bearing edges. The lugs for the core of the set are Tama Starclassic and the snare drum uses a Gretsch-style lug. The bass utilizes Tama Starclassic bass drum spurs, claws, and the batter hoop has intergrated plexiglass hoop protection. The toms have Gibraltar tom brackets in chrome that accept 10.5mm L-Rods. The floor toms are on legs with black chrome hardware a la the WorldMax floor tom conversion systems, but the original RIMS suspension mounts will also be included for the floor toms. The snare drum looks like an 8ply maple shell with 8ply reinforcing rings and has a diecast batter and a flanged snare-side hoop.
