Sound Pure's Take
This is it - this is the guitar. The one that felt like home the minute she hit my hands. Michael Tuttle's fretwork has built up a heavily regarded reputation over the years and pieces like this completely justify the noise. The roasted maple neck is the perfect C, a .830, and your hands just effortlessly glide up and down the entire fretboard. The alder body has the sweetest midrange that'll sing you to sleep with sparkling treble frequencies and a tight bass response to round out a bold and balanced sound. The sonic blue nitro finish is an immediate eye-catcher, but it's the way this piece plays that'll have you hooked. It's guitars like this that remind us of why Michael Tuttle is regarded as a world-class luthier.
