The Mesa Boogie Mark I Reissue 1x12 combo is one hell of an amp, in a package so small you're going to double check your ears once you hear it. Those classic Boogie tones at the tips of your fingers, and what could be sweeter than that?
A sensitive tone stack, cascading gain, and high-quality parts make this beast a jack-of-all-trades, able to get everything from spanky rich cleans to the higher gain crunch, all while retaining those signature Boogie mids you've come to know and love throughout the years. The amp is currently housing some 6V6 power tubes, so it can only be used on the Tweed mode. Feel free to explore a power tube plethora and equip some 6L6's or EL84's to navigate yourself through Mesa's output power options. Whether there's a little power sag or you're operating at full ferocity, with the volumes cranked or at bedroom levels, this amp will deliver the tone you desire at any volume you necessary.
Condition: Good, small signs of wear and discoloration around tolex
Forty-five years and thousands of satisfied customers later, MESA/Boogie® Ltd. hand-builds the fifth generational offspring of that pivotal amplifier (and many more) now known around the globe as the MARK I Boogie®; the world’s first high gain, high power, compact 1x12 amplifier. That revolutionary little combo is the “missing link” in amp design... the pivotal nexus between Vintage and Modern guitar amplifiers. When it comes to amplified guitar, there’s really just two epochs… before Boogie, and after Boogie.
