An ocean of overtones in bloom! The dynamic range of this guitar is incredible. Played gently with fingers, the bass sustains, and sustains, and sustains, providing the perfect sonic backdrop for articulate phrases on the treble end. Played hard with a pick it never backs down. It always retains its fullness and balance. It's a deep guitar, 5 inches, but it may as well be 50. It sits on the dividing line that distinguishes Luthiery from architecture. The redwood top-grain is exquisite. That must have been one mighty tree! The Rosewood is beautifully striped perfect balance of black and brown tones.
