Sound Pure's Take
Soft yet bright, this guitar was conceived in the collective unconscious of guitarists everywhere! It will transform the gentlest touch into a cascade of overtones that hang around just long enough to greet the first chord. The back and sides resemble a desert after a fresh rain; the sand darkened and dimpled into a brand new landscape. The top is snowfall brushed with sunlight. I could go on, but the pictures speak for themselves. This is the kind of guitar that makes you sit up straight and listen. This is a guitar that inspires.
From McPherson Guitars
Top: Engelmann Spruce is light in color with rich, complex tone. This wood best suits a more gentle touch. Great for fingerpicking with warm bass and complex overtones.
Back & Sides: Often referred to as an African Rosewood, Bubinga is technically not in the Rosewood family. It does, however, share many of the tonal qualities found in other Rosewoods.
