Condition: Used, Excellent
SP Luthier Notes: A majority of frets showed evidence of play wear. As such, the frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished back to a near mint state. The guitar required a full adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. (A) Minor dent(s) present on the guitar required our luthier to fill, color match, and refinish the area massively improving the cosmetics of the guitar. No further work was required.
This guitar is fantastic - it is responsive, rings like a bell, plays itself and sounds incredible plugged in. And to top it off, it was made in North Carolina! Terry McInturff is nothing short of a tone scientist, and when you play this thing you're getting an experience of craftsmanship that the likes of Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and so on know firsthand. The DiMarzio pickups are bold and smooth, but without any mud, and have a nice vintage output that can do super clean or crunchy sounds really well. The action is nice and low thanks to our luthier's work, and this guitar is put simply, a treat to experience. And thanks to the slightly offset shape of the body, you really can't tell this guitar is close to 9lbs, and it sits comfortably standing or sitting! Don't miss this one!
