Sound Pure's Take
Absolutely killer combo amp from one of the best in the business! You don't see mint condition Matchless amps come on the market too often, and this is a serious tone machine
This is the type of amp that reminds me why EL84 tubes are so amazing for big, bold, chimey cleans! and it takes pedals real well.

From Other (Miscellanous Used/Vintage/Consign)
The Avalon utilizes an innovative new hybrid construction method which combines point to point wiring, circuit tracing, and turret style construction. All parts, including the transformers, are identical to the ones that go into our traditional amps and are hand wired and built in our factory in Los Angeles.
The result is an amplifier that produces crystal clear, dynamic, three dimensional tones that are unique to Matchless at a lower price point.
