Sound Pure's Take

I adore this guitar. The bass is really there in abundance. I went to write something on it last night but found myself singing a few songs instead. I love the vintage aesthetic and spacious fretboard. It's a finger-pickers* dream and boy does it fill up a room. This a really classy Martin. I can see why they call it "special" :)

*definitely not afraid of a flat-pick either!

The Basics

Historically, 21 styling has represented the most simple appointments offered with rosewood back and sides and a spruce top. The OM-21 Special closely replicates this plain but beautiful style by blending rosewood bindings, a fine patterned Herringbone rosette, a nitrate tortoise pickguard and ebony fingerboard and pyramid bridge. The result is a stunning guitar that pays homage to the Golden Era styling.
